Dave Cormier’s open course – Rhizomatic Learning – The community is the curriculum – starts today, Tues 14th January. As I began to get oriented I saw a link to this post by Jenny Mackness. My first intent was to steal her post and paste it here. I discovered in the OLDSMOOC course last year that I could save hours of searching for “the good stuff” by simply reading her blog.
I called this “voyeuristic learning” but many consider it cheating or stealing. A newborn’s first learning is by imitation. This trait seems to be innate. Copying often is considered cheating, but imitating a role model seems natural.
